Today, Bernard brought Ellie, Phoebe and I to the Rével Market. I went last week when the weather was nice. Today, it poured. And then it hailed. The first three pictures are from last week’s market.
Clouds are slowly coming out. The market takes place à la Place Philippe IV.
At the centre of la Place is the tourism office, but it was originally built as a prison, some 500 years ago. It was commissioned by the King of France some 500 years ago.
Bernard loves pointing out that the wood is over 500 years old. “Du bon bois français!” Again, the first three pictures are from last week’s market.
This week, I really wanted to buy candy, but I got completely ripped-off! I’m too embarrassed to write how much a bag of sweets cost me. Photo courtesy of Ellie.
…and rain. It poured and then hailed at the market this week. It was pretty depressing, but what can you do? Photo: Ellie.
Hopefully, the weather is better in Italy…
